Welcome to ExportAZ Mattress. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://www.exportaz.org, including our reviews, buying guides, interactive tools and the optional paid sleep-consultation services described on our services page (together, the “Site”). The Site is operated by ExportAZ Mattress (“ExportAZ Mattress”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Please read these Terms carefully. They include a disclaimer of warranties, a limitation of our liability and an informal dispute-resolution process. Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial Policy also apply and form part of these Terms.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Eligibility

The Site is intended for adults. You may browse our content at any age with the involvement of a parent or guardian, but you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to submit a booking request or purchase a paid service. Our Kids & Teens Mattress Planning service must be booked by a parent or legal guardian.

3. Informational Content Only — No Medical Advice

All content on the Site, including articles, reviews, rankings, the Mattress Finder quiz, the firmness and sleep-cycle calculators, and our paid consultations and reports, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not medical, chiropractic, physiotherapy or other professional health advice, and it is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified professional.

A mattress is not a medical device, and no mattress can be guaranteed to relieve pain or treat a sleep disorder. If you have persistent back, neck or joint pain, insomnia, loud snoring, breathing pauses during sleep, or any other health concern, please consult a doctor or other qualified health professional. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on the Site. Results from our tools are estimates based on the answers you provide.

4. Reviews and Opinions

Our reviews, scores and rankings reflect the honest opinions of our editorial team at the time of writing, based on the methods described in our Editorial Policy. Comfort is subjective: a mattress we rate highly may not suit your body, sleep position or preferences. Products change, and manufacturers may update materials, designs, prices or policies without notice. We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that any review reflects the current version of a product.

ExportAZ Mattress is reader-supported. Some links on the Site are affiliate links, marked with rel="sponsored". If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change our rankings or verdicts. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and the merchant, not ExportAZ Mattress; the merchant’s terms, prices, shipping, trial, warranty and return policies apply, and the merchant is responsible for fulfilling your order. We offer optional paid services, including the Mattress Match Consultation, Couples Sleep Compatibility Plan, Back & Joint Comfort Review, Personalized Mattress Comparison Report, Bedroom Sleep Environment Audit and Kids & Teens Mattress Planning. Current descriptions and prices are listed on our services page. These services provide personalized product and comfort guidance; like the rest of the Site, they are not medical advice.

Booking and confirmation

  • Submitting the booking request form is a request only. It is not a contract and does not reserve a time slot.
  • A contract is formed only when we confirm your booking by email. We may decline a request, for example if we have no availability or the request falls outside the scope of our services.
  • After confirmation, we send a payment link separately by email. Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider; no payment is taken on the Site. A session is held, or report work begins, once payment is received.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars. Any applicable taxes or payment-provider fees will be shown before you pay.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule a live session free of charge by emailing us at least 24 hours before the confirmed start time. Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice are accommodated where possible but are not guaranteed. If we need to reschedule, we will offer you a new time or a full refund, at your choice. If you do not attend a session without notice, we will wait at least 15 minutes and may treat the session as delivered.

Cancellation and refunds

  • Live sessions: you are entitled to a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the session’s confirmed start time.
  • Written reports: you are entitled to a full refund if you cancel before work on your report has started. We will tell you by email when work begins.
  • Satisfaction re-do for reports: if a written report does not address the details you gave us, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will revise it once at no cost.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method, usually within 10 business days; your bank’s processing time may vary.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under consumer protection law where you live, including any statutory right to cancel.

Your responsibilities

Our recommendations depend on the information you give us, so please provide accurate details. The final choice of any mattress or product is yours. We are not responsible for a merchant’s products, delivery, trial or warranty decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and all its content, including text, reviews, scoring frameworks, graphics, images, logos, the “ExportAZ Mattress” name and the design and code of our interactive tools, are owned by or licensed to ExportAZ Mattress and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Third-party brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify their products.

8. Permitted Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You may:

  • view, read and print pages for your own reference;
  • share links to our pages on social media or by email;
  • quote short extracts for commentary or review, with a clear credit and link to the original page.

Any other use, including republishing, selling or redistributing our content, requires our prior written permission.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape or harvest content or data from the Site by automated means, including for training machine-learning models, without our written permission;
  • reproduce our reviews or rankings in a way that suggests endorsement by, or affiliation with, ExportAZ Mattress;
  • submit false, misleading, abusive, defamatory or unlawful information through our forms;
  • impersonate any person, or misrepresent your affiliation with a brand or retailer;
  • send spam, malware or any code designed to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;
  • interfere with the Site’s security, overload its infrastructure, or attempt to bypass any access restriction;
  • manipulate affiliate links or engage in click fraud;
  • use the Site in any way that violates applicable law.

10. User Submissions

The Site does not host comments or public user content. When you send us messages, feedback, correction requests or product suggestions (“Submissions”), you confirm that they are accurate, that you have the right to share them, and that they do not infringe anyone’s rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use non-personal ideas and feedback from your Submissions to improve our content and services. We will never publish your name or personal details without your permission. Personal information in Submissions is handled under our Privacy Policy.

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including mattress brands, retailers and health organizations. We provide them for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, privacy practices or availability of those sites, and a link does not mean we endorse everything on them. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all content and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses, that prices, availability or product details are current, or that any product or recommendation will meet your needs. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExportAZ Mattress and its editor, contributors and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, our content, our services or any product you buy from a third party, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or our services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US $50. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ExportAZ Mattress and its editor, contributors and service providers from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Site are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and nothing in these Terms affects your right to rely on them.

16. Dispute Resolution — Informal First

Most concerns can be resolved quickly. Before starting any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us first at [email protected] with a short description of the issue and the outcome you are seeking. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot resolve it informally, either party may pursue the remedies available under the governing law described above, and consumers may also use any dispute-resolution body or court available to them under local law.

17. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with the policies referenced above and any booking confirmation we send you, form the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our services or the law. We will post the updated Terms on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Changes apply from the date they are posted, except that a confirmed booking is governed by the Terms in force when we confirmed it. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
